Senator Chapman moved to amend the bill on page 2, section 1, line 11, by striking the word “recommended” and inserting in lieu thereof the word “necessary”;

On page 2, section 1, line 14, by striking out the word “recommend” and inserting in lieu thereof the word “impose”;

On page 2, section 2, by striking out the section heading and substituting therefor a new section heading, to read as follows:

§24-2B-2. One-year moratorium on utility rate increase approvals.;

On page 2, section 2, line 2, by striking out the words “are recommended not to” and inserting in lieu thereof the words “may not”;

On page 3, section 2, line 11, by striking out the word “recommended” and inserting in lieu thereof the word “established”;

And,

On page 3, section 2, lines 18 and 19, by striking out the words “a moratorium imposed pursuant to”.
